The NgEDUCATORS INTERNATIONAL MODEL UNITED NATIONS (NgIMUN) President, Amb. Dr. Tivlumun Innocent Ahure, and the NgIMUN Vice President, Dr. Nawal Yaghi were at the National Assembly to formally invite the leadership of the Senate and House of Representatives to participate in the conference. Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives was thrilled to have a session with the team and stated that Parliamentary system partnership for this momentous gathering dedicated to empowering education development in developing countries is a necessity. Rt. Hon. Kalu remarked that the House of Representatives extends their warmest greetings and deepest appreciation for the team’s commitment to making a positive impact in the field of education.
The NgIMUN team leader, Amb. Dr. Tivlumun Innocent Ahure despatched letters inviting all the education committees of the Senate (UPPER CHAMBERS) and the House of Representatives (LOWER CHAMBERS) to the conference and urged the Nigeria’s National Assembly to avail themselves this opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, collaborate with fellow participants, and contribute to shaping the future of education on a global scale. Dr. Ahure told the Deputy Speaker that “your presence and participation are invaluable, and we look forward to embarking on this inspiring journey together”.
The NgIMUN Conference serves as a platform for educators, students, policymakers, and stakeholders from around the world to come together and address the challenges facing education in developing countries. With a focus on fostering innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability, the conference aims to generate actionable solutions, forge partnerships, and drive positive change in education systems.
Through interactive sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, participants will have the chance to exchange ideas, share best practices, and collaborate on initiatives that advance education access, quality, and equity. The NgIMUN is an Initiative of the International Human Rights Commission, Relief Fund Trust (IHRC RFT) in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations. The IHRC RFT uses multilateralism negotiations towards building a brighter future for learners everywhere.
